Leay Ltd was established in 1937 as a family owned glazing business and has successfully traded in the commercial window and curtain walling market for the last 56 years and continues to build on its past success. 

In 1968 Leay became an approved fabricating and installing dealer for Kawneer systems which led to a concentration on Curtain Walling, Entrances, Windows, and related products.   This appointment makes Leay the longest established Kawneer dealer in the UK, and among the ten largest, enjoying a very high level of expertise, support and co-operation.

In 2009 Leay became an approved fabricating and installing dealer for Metal Technology systems, further enhancing the product offering to clients.

Trading from the present factory, Leay has the facility to undertake large Curtain Wall and Window projects, which, together with the development, training and retention of many skilled fabricators and combined with knowledgeable expert staff across multiple departments from estimating to design and project management, provides a complete and formidable team.

The company is dedicated to quality and performance to which end it takes training very seriously. The company has twice been awarded the prize for the best trained Kawneer dealership.  In addition, it has collected two FHBC quality awards.

There is a continuing policy of investment in new technology including automated CNC machines along with CAD and processing software.

The progression and development of building regulations, safety and construction products standards demands that specialist contractors meet strict requirements.  Leay has worked with a multitude of businesses, and with independent bodies to achieve certification in key areas to ensure that we are always moving forward with industry and legislative demands.

It is also company policy to encourage business by establishing good working relationships with customers.  This has resulted in numerous projects by way of repeat business, the philosophy being that whilst we enjoy making windows we also like to make friends.
